The “Child Protection and Development Center”, CPDC operates under the management of Human Help Network Foundation Thailand (HHNTF) and works to protect children at risk of sexual abuse and for the rehabilitation and reintegration in family and society of street children.
The CPDC works in a four part mission which includes firstly prevention of (sexual) abuse of children as well as human trafficking, secondly outreach work to contact street children, conduct fieldwork and collect data, thirdly a drop-in center down-town Pattaya as a safe shelter for any child in need. Fourthly the CPDC will provide a permanent residence for children who choose that option, with prior screening from the Drop-in Center. The center will take up to sixty children at one time, providing emotional coaching, education, as well as life skills and vocational training.
