The 6th of October, the Sotpattana Deaf Schools’ 30th Anniversary was celebrated at the Thai Alangkarn Theatre with a stunning Charity Show. The proceeds where donated to the children of the school for the deaf, who also performed at this spectacle event.

On Monday, 13th of August 2012, the Sottpatana School for the Deaf celebrated its 30th anniversary with a great feast dignifying the work and dedication which has and still is been done to benefit less fortunate children. HHNFT is glad to see this incessant effort and is proud to be part of it.

During the last 12 months The Pfalzinstitut für Hören und Kommunikation PIH, a vocational school for deaf students located in Frankenthal, Germany, has fostered a successful partnership with The Sotpattana School for the Deaf, a vocational school for deaf children on the compound of the Pattaya Orphanage in Thailand.

The babies and toddlers of the Pattaya Orphanage and children of the Sottpatana School for Deaf received a pleasant visit by the US Navy and Marine of the USS TORTUGA.

Proud parents, applause, dancing and nine young students, who are now ready to take on life. The graduation party of the Sotpattana School for the Deaf was, without a doubt, an important day in the lives of these young children. After several years of hard study, these deaf and hearing impaired children are now well prepared to enter Thailand’s public school system.

On the 25th of december the Pattaya Orphanage celebrated Christmas day by inviting patrons, old residents and sponsors for food and festivities to the orphanage. The orphans were joined by the children from the Sotpattana School for the Deaf and the children from the CPDC, all having a wonderful time receiving gifts and celebrating with their friends and supporters.

Since September of this year, the Pfalzinstitut für Hörsprachbehinderte (School for the Deaf and the Hearing impaired) in Frankenthal, Germany and the Sotpattana School for the Deaf have had a cross-country friendship.

After several weeks of hard practice, the Children from Sotpattana School for the Deaf performed wonderfully at this year’s Primary Christmas Recital at the Regent School Pattaya. The children sang and danced together with the Regent School’s primary choir, which was surely one of the evening’s highlights.

On Monday, 19th of April all children of the Pattaya Orphanage as well as the CPDC children joined the big Songkran celebrations that were held in Pattaya.

Like every year the Thai New Year, also called Songkran is celebrated throughout Thailand and to this occasion the Pattaya Orphanage held the annual Family day on Sunday, the 18th of April. All children and staff members of the Pattaya Orphange as well as the staff members and volunteers of Human Help Network Foundation Thailand joined the celebration.
