On August, 16th 2011, it was Father Ray’s 8th anniversary of the death. Therefore, the Pattaya Orphanage hosted a two-day Charity Football Tournament last weekend. The children of the orphanage and of the Child Protection and Development Center (CPDC) have been looking forward to this big event for weeks.

On Saturday, January 29th the Pattaya Orphanage hosted a charity theatre group from Guangxi Region, China. This event was marked by the biggest attendance in the orphanage’s history. The event was a major success with all proceeds supporting the education fund for orphaned children.

On the 25th of december the Pattaya Orphanage celebrated Christmas day by inviting patrons, old residents and sponsors for food and festivities to the orphanage. The orphans were joined by the children from the Sotpattana School for the Deaf and the children from the CPDC, all having a wonderful time receiving gifts and celebrating with their friends and supporters.

On Saturday, October 16th the Pattaya Orphanage and Human Help Network Foundation Thailand were proud to present the Charity Musical Theatre “Samson & Delilah” at the Thai Alangkarn Theater in Pattaya. With nearly 2000 guests welcomed at the theater after several months of preparation, the event was a major success for everybody involved.

On Monday, the 11th of October, His Majesty King Constantine II of Greece, former King of the Hellenes and Patron of the Round Square Organization visited the Pattaya Orphanage. The orphanage’s children and staff were very excited to welcome His Majesty along with his wife Princess Anna Marie of Denmark and their daughter Princess Theodora of Greece.

The members of the Pattaya Orphanage Football Team were excited to receive new tricots after they had played a tough game against a team of former Orphans. The German Football Club VLF Birkenau/Odenwald had sponsored a complete set of new tricots for the team that had recently visited Germany on an international football tournament-tour.

On Saturday, the 11th of September, the Pattaya Orphanage organized a great celebration day for its 36th anniversary. With roughly about 1500 guests, among which were many of Pattaya’s high society, the 36th anniversary celebration was a major event and a great success for the Orphanage and all its friends and benefactors.

Twelve teenage boys, all of them part of the orphanage´s football youth, from the Pattaya Orphanage and three of their teachers as well as their football coach and longtime supporter of the Orphanage Heiko Klimantschewski had the honor to travel to Germany for ten days and attend an international youth football tournament.

On Monday, 19th of April all children of the Pattaya Orphanage as well as the CPDC children joined the big Songkran celebrations that were held in Pattaya.

Like every year the Thai New Year, also called Songkran is celebrated throughout Thailand and to this occasion the Pattaya Orphanage held the annual Family day on Sunday, the 18th of April. All children and staff members of the Pattaya Orphange as well as the staff members and volunteers of Human Help Network Foundation Thailand joined the celebration.
