It was a great celebration day as Human Help Network Foundation Thailand and all children happily welcomed many friends and benefactors at the opening ceremony of the Nursing unit, two new girls´ houses, common sala and sports court at CPDC.

Twelve teenage boys, all of them part of the orphanage´s football youth, from the Pattaya Orphanage and three of their teachers as well as their football coach and longtime supporter of the Orphanage Heiko Klimantschewski had the honor to travel to Germany for ten days and attend an international youth football tournament.

It was an exciting day for the children and staff members of the CPDC. The two new houses, generously sponsored by our German donors are now opened and the girls as well as the smallest boys moved in. In each house the children are staying together with one teacher who takes care of them.

Human Help Network Foundation Thailand is happy to announce progressive development at the Child Protection and Development Center (CPDC). Thanks to our kind donors and benefactors the CPDC developes rapidly. We continued working hard to provide a good home for children at risk and street children who come to live with us.

Everybody was very happy to welcome back the three friends, Ashley Syms, Pam Proto and Matt Cline. The Americans supported the CPDC from the very beginning. They visited the CPDC several times and got to know the children. Starting up with smaller projects they now realized more support for the CPDC .

All CPDC children, staff members and members of HHN Foundation were privileged and very happy to welcome Madame Ambassador of Netherlands, Mrs. Baiba Braze, with two members from the Netherlands Embassy, Bangkok.

On Monday, 19th of April all children of the Pattaya Orphanage as well as the CPDC children joined the big Songkran celebrations that were held in Pattaya.

Like every year the Thai New Year, also called Songkran is celebrated throughout Thailand and to this occasion the Pattaya Orphanage held the annual Family day on Sunday, the 18th of April. All children and staff members of the Pattaya Orphange as well as the staff members and volunteers of Human Help Network Foundation Thailand joined the celebration.

During school vacations 26 boys of the CPDC take part in theology & spiritual education program at the nearby Buddhist Temple, Wat Thephabutr. Among other children in the area the temple hosts our children for nearly a month and the boys learn about Thai traditions and Buddhist principles. The vacation program consists of life experiences in the temple and the Thai cultural disciplines in society.
