Great news of the week
September 21, 2011

We are very glad we can announce wonderful news: The government finally succeeded in finding one of the children’s parents. Two years ago, the girl was given to the care of the CPDC and since then has been hoping to see her parents again someday.

Pancake became a victim of child trafficking when she was taken from Cambodia to Thailand at an early age to sell goods on the streets. However, the Thai police was informed and ‘Pancake’ was brought to the CPDC. There she found a safe intermediate home. Fortunately, the criminals could be caught, but the child’s parents remained untraceable. Thanks to the government’s efforts, the girl now can be reunited with her parents and return safely to her home town in Cambodia.
