Mr. Proffe along with his wife and friend were so kind to pay a visit to the children at our center on May 2nd and to support our work with a donation of toys and necessities for the children. In spite of the rather short visit the counselor and his wife were impressed with what they saw at the CPDC and especially to experience that the children are happy to live at our center.
Our guests took their time to visit the Nursing Unit, which had been donated by the German Embassy, and to inspect the medical equipment donated by the German Rotary Club. They also found time for discussion with our nurse about free services to slum children and local communities.
We were honored to welcome Mr. and Mrs. Proffe and their friend and to have an opportunity to inform them about the actual implementation of the funds given by the Embassy.
