From 15.2. to 19.2. 17 pupils from the Ruamrudee International School, Swiss Section from Bangkok (RIS School) had been in Pattaya. In this week they got the chance to work in the Pattaya Orphanage and in the CPDC (Child Protection and Development Center).
The 13 and 14 year old pupils changed their normal schedule including German-, English- or geographylessons , into a week of social learning with jobs like playing with children, cleaning vegetable beds, watering plants , removing weed, feeding pigs and hens and cleaning their stables.
During their stay at Pattaya, they joined the meals at the CPDC every day and also spent their evenings and there, to play soccer or to knit friendship ribbons.
Thursday night all pupils of the RIS School and the children of CPDC had a great barbecue at the CPDC. – A successful ending of a week with lots of exciting experiences, new friendships and of course much fun and a completely new experience.
